It's all about the other persons prefference. But just to be safe, for a male I would recommend having it trimmed. No jungle pubes, because it looks dirty. No shaving down to the skin, because it itches when it grows back...no one wants to see you scratching down there, gives off other signals. So be somewhere in the middle of the two extremes.

Being a gay man, I can't speak for women, but I think you should at least keep the lower bush trimmed. No one likes to have pubic hairs go up their nose while giving oral sex.
I agree. If I am going to keep things neat for my partner, I expect the same as well. I don't necessarily care if its shaven,but at least trimmed down is nice.
