Wht function does body hair have for men specially? as women dont have as much!?

i guess it depends which part - there is usually a thermal or protective function...like nose hair and eyelashes prevent particles from entering lungs and eyes respectively...Wht function does body hair have for men specially? as women dont have as much!?
Another theory for the thin body hair on humans proposes that Fisherian runaway sexual selection played a role. (as well as in the selection of long head hair). Possibly this occurred in conjunction during fetal/early child development neoteny such that more juvenile appearing females being selected by males as more desirable (see types of hair and vellus hair) (however, this conclusion may be more of a reflection of current standards of beauty rather than prehistoric ones).

I don't really care about the function, but it's very manly when a man has a good amount of chest hair (not so much as to plait) and 5 o'clock shadow, and a snail trail... and, we'll leave it at that! *blush*
well women do have body hair it just that they shave it. Do think women with body hair would be attractive ?? not judging, just saying the social fact.
men have more hair because generally they have more testosterone then women have.
do you mean down stairs

:well i think its the same reason as on your head
